We don't just store data center equipment. We keep it off your critical path.
RideThrough takes custody of owner-furnished gear from factory release to set-in-place: stored, preserved, verified and delivered in the sequence your schedule requires.
Frederick, MD. Serving data center campuses across Maryland and Northern Virginia.
The problem
It arrives early.
Transformers, switchgear and generators get ordered years ahead to hold production slots. They show up long before the building can take them.
Preservation gets skipped.
Gear sits in laydown yards, factory lots and generic warehouses. Battery charging, space heaters and humidity limits go unlogged, and warranties ride on those logs.
Damage gets found late.
Found at the dock on delivery day, it's a carrier claim. Found on site months later, it's your schedule, and the real cost is the replacement lead time.
The program
01
Store.
Secured, climate- and humidity-controlled space built for heavy electrical and mechanical gear, caged by customer and project.
02
Preserve.
Preservation to the manufacturer's product requirements and your project requirements, including energized preservation like battery charging and space heaters. Every action logged.
03
Stage.
Kitting, consolidation and release in the order your schedule requires, coordinated with your riggers and delivery windows.
04
Verify.
Pre-Delivery Readiness Verification: photo-documented receiving, integrity audits, serial checks against the assigned hall, label checks on conductors and control wiring, battery voltage checks and climate loggers inside the gear. Performed by licensed partner technicians.
How it works
01
Receive and inspect.
Photo-documented at the dock, the same day.
02
Log and tag.
Serial-level records you can see any time.
03
Preserve.
On the manufacturer's schedule, not ours.
04
Stage.
Kitted by hall and by sequence.
05
Deliver.
Released when the pad is ready, with your riggers.
Also on the campus
Equipment field services.
Rigging and setting coordination, load bank support, and liquid cooling loop flush, fill and test.
Site logistics crews.
Receiving crews, laydown yard management, gate and delivery scheduling, flaggers and fire watch.
Operations-phase services.
Spares and critical parts warehousing with vendor-managed inventory, load bank storage, and scheduled coolant loop maintenance.
Why RideThrough
RideThrough was built by people who have managed hyperscale data center construction from the owner's side and the contractor's side, and who have watched good equipment get wrecked waiting for a building. The company exists so that doesn't happen to yours.
